STATE OF THE ART GUIDELINES
Press Releases and Photos for State of the Art
Send all materials to our Communications Director.
Please submit press releases by email, preferably as Word documents. Press releases may be longer than those submitted to general interest newspapers. We offer Member Groups and Arts Partners the opportunity to showcase many issues, such as the history of the organization, the backgrounds of persons involved, the process by which works are chosen for performance, the involvement of the group or business in community affairs, etc.
In order to plan the coverage, we need your pieces well before our publication date. This gives us time to work with the writers to make the pieces of interest to the largest number of readers, and to edit them.
Please submit your press releases, ads and other pieces by the submission deadlines, as follows: (because we have switched to a quarterly magazine, the deadlines have changed, please take note)
October-November-December - August 25
January-February-March - November 25
April-May-June - February 25
July-August-September - May 25
High Resolution Photos should be marked with the name(s) of the persons shown and their towns of residence, the event or action pictured, and the name of the photographer. Contact information for the group should also be provided. Please send either hard copies, jpg, or tif files.
Ads must be in PDF, JPG or TIF Format.
